Andrew Lutfy’s journey to success is an inspiring story. CEO and sole owner of Groupe Dynamite since 2002, Mr. Lutfy is known for his outstanding achievements in the fashion and retail sector.
As President & CEO of Carbonleo, Mr. Lutfy sets the company’s strategic direction and leads the negotiation of major contracts as well as the management of Carbonleo’s assets.
Mr. Lutfy has a forward-looking vision of the experience and environment to be offered to consumers.
His approach is reflected in the development of such large-scale projects as the the Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Montreal and the Royalmount multifunctional urban centre.
Claude Marcotte has been working for major engineering and architectural firms for the past 30 years. Over the course of his rich professional career, Mr. Marcotte has participated in the planning of the Griffintown district and the development of the Tour des Canadiens and the Bois-Franc project. Now a partner at Carbonleo, he is involved with all of the company’s flagship projects.
Mr. Marcotte plays a key role in the strategic development of the company’s major architectural endeavors. He is responsible for managing agreements with municipal stakeholders and external consultants, including urban planners, architects, engineers, entrepreneurs and others involved locally and internationally in the planning and implementation of Carbonleo’s real estate projects.
Nicolas Désourdy has more than 15 years of combined professional experience in the real estate and retail sectors. As a partner, he plays a key role in product creation, strategic planning, development and the daily management of Carbonleo.
Mr. Désourdy also manages activities related to the leasing of commercial and office spaces in the company’s real estate portfolio. In addition to developing relationships with major retailers and other potential partners worldwide, he manages a dynamic team and oversees the negotiation of leasing offers and service agreements.
Jean-Luc Dion has 35 years of experience in engineering and commercial real estate. He has been actively involved in the construction community, serving as Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Institute for Research in Construction of the National Research Council of Canada from 2006 to 2012. In addition, he has received numerous awards, including the Construire award, “Chantier d’importance,” from the Association de la construction du Québec in 2008 for the Quartier DIX30TM project.
A senior member of the Carbonleo team, Mr. Dion leads a multidisciplinary group in charge of all of the company’s construction projects: commercial, residential, office, hotel, theatre, etc.
Louise N. Pelletier has been practicing real estate and business law for more than 25 years. She is primarily involved in the acquisition, sale and development of large-scale commercial, hotel, industrial and multi-residential real estate projects.
Ms. Pelletier leads a group of lawyers who support the management, leasing, finance, construction and development teams for all projects under management. With her solid experience working with institutional firms, Ms. Pelletier is also responsible for corporate governance practices.
Jocelyn Galarneau has acquired more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting in complex large-scale projects. Within Carbonleo, Mr. Galarneau is responsible for project financing, budgeting, cash flow management and financial statements for the company as well as its projects in development and under management.
With more than 25 years of experience in organizational transformation and talent management, Geneviève Blouin has confirmed, over the course of her professional career, that focusing on team development is what makes them true growth drivers within their organizations. Ms. Blouin had previously worked for several organizations, including Pratt & Whitney, Bombardier, CAE and Ivanhoé Cambridge.
Michael’s career began in commercial real estate nearly 20 years ago. Today, Michael leads and manages the retail, office, industrial and specialty leasing teams and oversees budgets, strategy, merchandizing, and market research. He is also a member of the executive team, and plays a key role in creating value for Carbonleo and its projects.
Nicholas Kassis has been working in the Real Estate & Retail sector for nearly 10 years, specializing in the leasing of commercial space.
As the Director of Retail Leasing at Carbonleo, he will focus his efforts on the development of targeted strategy and leasing of commercial space, restaurants and entertainment for the Royalmount ™ project.
Sandra started in commercial real estate in 2011 working on various retail development projects. As Senior Leasing Manager, her main focus will be leasing Royalmount project, more specifically the fashion category.
Pier-Olivier has been working in commercial real estate for several years. As Leasing Manager at Carbonleo, his efforts are focused on the many facets of commercial leasing for the Royalmount project.
Frank started his career in the hospitality industry more than 10 years ago. He currently manages activities related to the leasing of commercial spaces for the Royalmount project, with a focus on the food and beverage industry. Frank enjoys road cycling and hiking in his spare time.
Guy is an intrapreneur with more than 25 years of experience in media, experiential marketing and the restaurant industry. As the team member in charge of specialized locations, Guy guides the planning and deployment of media opportunities, brand activations, pop-up stores, partnerships and sponsorships. He works closely with the leasing team to identify possible solutions to suit very specific needs, for both short and medium terms, for instance for film and television.
Christophe has been working in residential and commercial real estate for several years now. Having worked in asset valuation, real-estate and portfolio transactions, as well as investment fund asset management, Christophe now specializes in financial analysis for the Royalmount project.
With more than 10 years of management experience and an MBA, Vanessa Lord has successfully spearheaded projects of all types and sizes, working with multidisciplinary teams primarily in the entertainment industry. Her career boasts collaborations with leading organizations including Cirque du Soleil, UEFA, FIFA, Lune Rouge, the Phi Centre and Cirque Éloize. Known for her leadership, contagious good humor and versatility, she is part of the Carbonleo leasing team as an entertainment specialist.
Sophie-Catherine has accumulated over 20 years of experience in designing, project managing and building retail environments. She notably directed the renovation and expansion of Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal, orchestrated the development of new concepts for Birks Group in Canada, the United States, and China, as well as expanded Starbucks in Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. Sophie-Catherine has an eye for design and boasts best-in-class retail expertise.
In recent years, Marie-Ève has participated in the planning and coordination of major real-estate development projects. She has worked on several dossiers in the private sector, in site development strategy, and in district rejuvenation. Since 2004, Marie-Ève has worked in collaboration with several multidisciplinary teams to serve big-name clients in both public and private sectors, such as Cadillac Fairview, Devimco, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, and Canderel.
With nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and management, particularly in tourism and retail, Alexandra has led several large-scale projects, including integrated communications programs for such notable clients as Destination Canada, Aritzia, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, and Spafax, Air Canada’s content agency that produces enRoute magazine. Alexandra brings a global perspective to marketing, having worked for several years in the United States, Vancouver and internationally.
