Montréal, le 25 janvier 2019. – Following the statement made by the mayor of Montreal, Carbonleo responded with the following statement:

“We salute the mayor’s willingness to intensify consultation and enhance a project that, particularly through the presence of local and international partners, has extraordinary potential for Montreal.. In our opinion, the mayor’s openness gives out a positive cue as to the relevance of a new neighbourhood in Montreal, as well as a new destination that will promote the city’s international reputation.

Carbonleo reiterates its willingness to further discussions, within a short delay, and accepts the mayor’s invitation. Her favourable opinion regarding the addition of a residential component offers many exciting opportunities that we are looking forward to explore. ”
