(Montreal, Quebec) September 4th, 2025 – One year after opening, ROYALMOUNT, Montreal’s premier lifestyle destination, has emerged as one of Canada’s most talked-about retail hubs,  transforming from a bold vision into a thriving centre of luxury retail, culinary excellence, and cultural connection.

In just 12 months, ROYALMOUNT has grown from 57 stores at launch to 152 today, with 87% of its gross leasable area now open across 824,000 square feet. The premier hub now features over 30 restaurants and cafés, attracting both local visitors and international tourists. Over this period, it has also grown its market share by 50%, cementing its position as a dominant force in Quebec’s retail landscape. In addition to hosting Quebec’s largest concentration of international luxury flagships, including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Versace, ROYALMOUNT features a curated selection of brands and concepts new to the Quebec market, which account for 50% of its retail mix. This includes Sandro, Maje, Anine Bing, Veronica Beard, and Rennaï, along with RH, a luxury home-furnishings retailer that features a 50,000-square-foot gallery showroom and rooftop restaurant. This also makes ROYALMOUNT an anchor of Montreal’s home and design scene with renowned retailers such as Home Société, Roche Bobois, Maison Territo, H&M Home, Christofle, and Le Creuset. Complementing these global brands is a strong Canadian presence of retailers, such as Kotn, Canada Goose, Marie Saint Pierre, Mackage, Moose Knuckles, Quartz Co, Arc’teryx, Dynamite, and Garage, all calling ROYALMOUNT home.

ROYALMOUNT also hosts the largest concentration of luxury watches and jewelry in Quebec, including TAG Heuer, TimeVallée, Tudor, IWC, Maison Birks, and Omega. Looking ahead, visitors can anticipate further openings from prestigious names such as  Rolex and Tiffany & Co. — including the largest Rolex store in North America — debuting as soon as this fall.

In parallel with its retail growth, ROYALMOUNT has also emerged as one of Montreal’s foremost culinary destinations, home to the city’s largest concentration of terrace dining, with over 1,000 terrace seats. The destination welcomes Siamo Noi, the iconic Olive & Gourmando, Le Fou Fou, a dynamic culinary concept offering 12 distinct food options, as well as over 21 restaurants and cafés nestled within its Urban Park.

Beyond its world-class retail and culinary offerings, ROYALMOUNT has cemented its status as Montreal’s foremost cultural meeting place. The destination has hosted over 50 standout events and experiences in the last year, including an outdoor winter skating rink, the Concours d’Élégance ROYALMOUNT, a first-of-its-kind Race Week celebration showcasing some of the rarest collector cars in the country, the city’s first outdoor Croissound day party which attracted more than 3,000 attendees, an exclusive summer collaboration with MURAL Festival that welcomed over 5,000 guests each weekend in August, and the Asian Night Market, which drew over 30,000 customers during Labour Day weekend. Adding to its vibrant calendar, ROYALMOUNT also offers weekly family, wellness, and music programming in its 77,000-square-foot Urban Park.

“One year in, ROYALMOUNT is more than a destination—it’s an experience that inspires connection, creativity, and celebration,” says Andrew Lutfy, CEO of ROYALMOUNT. “We’ve set a new benchmark for urban living in Montreal, and this is only the beginning.”

As it heads into 2026, ROYALMOUNT continues to evolve, promising new openings, expanded cultural programming, and innovative community initiatives that will shape the future of Montreal’s urban landscape.
